Sunday, April 10 - The Jewish War Veterans: Walter I. Berlin Post 539 will hold their monthly meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. at "The Club" Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation Center, 4676 North Wickham Road, Melbourne.

Sunday, April 17 - The Jewish War Veterans: Walter I. Berlin Post 639 announces that the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be departing from the Eastern Florida State University Cocoa Campus at noon. It will later arrive at Wickham Park where it is available for viewing from dusk to dawn from Monday, April 18 until Sunday, April 24.

No work permitted on April 23 to 24 and April 29 to 30. Work is permitted only on April 25 to 28 with certain restrictions - The remembrance and celebration of the Jews deliverance from slavery in Egypt. This holiday is one of the Shalosh Regalia, the three Biblical pilgrimage festival, and it precedes the first day of the counting of the Omer.
Monday, April 25 - The Jewish War Veterans: Walter I. Berlin Post 639 will be at the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall in Wickham Park from midnight until dawn as this Wall, like the one in Washington D.C., is not left unattended. (See Sunday, April 17 for more details about the Wall).

Sunset - Saturday, May 21 thru nightfall of Sunday, May 22: Peach Sheni / Second Passover - Work is permitted. Thirty days ago we remembered and celebrated the Jews deliverance from slavery in Egypt. Now, a second Peach for those who were ineligible, as prescribed by Torah, to participate in the Korban Pesach.

Sunset - Wednesday, May 25 thru nightfall of Thursday, May 26: Lag B'Omer - Work is permitted. Literally meaning the 33rd day of the Omer, this holiday remembers Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, a Mishnaic sage, and the birth of Jewish mysticism.
Sunset - Saturday, June 4 thru nightfall Sunday, June 5: Yom Yerushalayim - Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of jerusalem and establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in June 1967. The Chief Rabbinate of Israel declared Jerusalem Day to thank G-d for victory in the Six-Day War and for answering the 2,000 year-old prayer of "Next Year in Jerusalem."
